BAXI Manresa suffered a defeat on Barça's difficult court (97-60) in a game where they trailed from the middle of the first quarter.
The players coached by Diego Ocampo got off to a good start and scored the first five points of the game. The visitors dominated until the middle of the first quarter, when Barça responded, turning the game around with a 7-0 run and taking an eight-point lead (22-14).
In the second quarter, the home team took control of the game and built a sixteen-point lead (41-25). At halftime, Xavi Pascual's men were winning by twelve (43-31).
Coming out of the locker room, Barça continued to dominate the Bages team, who were powerless to stop them. Barça extended their lead and finished the third quarter with a thirty-point advantage (73-43).
The final ten minutes were uneventful, as the game was already decided. Both coaches took the opportunity to rest their key players and give playing time to those who don't use them much.
After the break for the Copa del Rey and the FIBA windows, BAXI Manresa will return to competition on Saturday, March 7th at 6:00 PM, when they will host La Laguna Tenerife at the Nou Congost.
