Kids&Us Manresa was unable to secure a win on the home court of one of the EuroCup title favorites, the Turkish side Bahcesehir College Istanbul, which dominated the match from the start (100-88).
The Turkish team got off to a strong start, scoring the game's first nine points. The "Reds" responded shortly after (14-10), but the hosts pulled away again, reaching a maximum lead of sixteen points (30-14). By the end of the first quarter, Bahcesehir held a twelve-point advantage (32-20).
In the second period, Diego Ocampo's players improved their game and—led once again by Allen—managed to narrow the gap to nine points by halftime (53-44).
After returning from the locker room, the Manresa squad continued to cut into the deficit, pulling within three points of their rivals (62-59). Subsequently, the Turkish team pulled away again, ending the third quarter with a ten-point lead on the scoreboard (76-66). In the final ten minutes, the Bages team kept fighting, but they were up against a powerful opponent that proved very solid and gave them no chance to contend for the win.
On Saturday at 6:00 PM, Kids&Us Manresa will play against Unicaja at the Nou Congost in a Round 4 match of the Liga Endesa.
