BAXI Manresa closes the preseason with a match played in Andorra

BAXI Manresa failed to secure victory in their final preseason match, losing by a single point on the court of MoraBanc Andorra (86-85).
Diego Ocampo's team, which included Louis Olinde's debut, scored the first five points of the match, but from then on, the home team began to gain momentum and took control of the scoreboard. At the end of the first quarter, the Andorrans led by eight points (25-17).
In the second period, Joan Plaza's men showed a strong performance, especially the centers. This allowed them to continue overcoming Bages' defense and gradually extend their lead. At halftime, Andorra led by twelve points (52-40).
Coming out of the locker room, the visitors improved their defensive performance, and thanks to this, they were able to close the gap. By the end of the third quarter, the Manresa team was already very close, trailing by only four points (68-64).
In the final ten minutes, the Andorrans were always ahead, and with just over two minutes left, they had the game well in hand (86-77). However, Ocampo's team did not give up and had two free throws to force overtime. Reyes missed the second, and the victory remained in Andorra.
