BAXI Manresa secured another victory in the Liga Endesa, this time on the challenging court of Dreamland Gran Canaria, whom they dominated for most of the game (80-87).
The players coached by Diego Ocampo got off to a good start and quickly took control of the scoreboard, although always by a narrow margin. However, the home team reacted and took the lead at the end of the first quarter (22-21).
In the second quarter, Manresa didn't take long to regain the lead and dominated the scoreboard as they had in the first quarter, maintaining a slight advantage. At halftime, the Bages team was winning by seven points (35-42).
Coming out of the locker room, the visitors came out strong and gradually increased their lead, reaching a maximum difference of fifteen points (54-69). By the end of the third quarter, Ocampo's men had the game firmly in hand (57-69).
In the final ten minutes, Manresa built an eighteen-point lead (57-75) and, despite an 8-0 run against them, remained solid to thwart any comeback attempt and secure their fifteenth victory of the season.
On Friday at 6:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will close out their season at the Nou Congost against the Liga Endesa leaders, Real Madrid.
