BAXI Manresa wins a thrilling derby against Joventut

BAXI Manresa secured another victory at the Nou Congost, defeating Asisa Joventut in another Catalan derby in the Liga Endesa (87-77).
The players coached by Diego Ocampo started the game strong, going on a 7-0 run. Badalona responded immediately, taking the lead (9-10). From then on, the game remained close until the end of the first quarter (18-17).
In the second quarter, the home team maintained a lead throughout, but always by a narrow margin, never exceeding five points. At halftime, the home team was only ahead by two points (39-37).
After the break, Manresa started strong again, building a maximum lead of fifteen points (54-39). By the end of the third quarter, the visitors had narrowed the gap to just six points (62-56).
In the final ten minutes, the visitors closed the gap to just one point (75-74), but the Bages team remained solid and secured their tenth victory of the season in the Liga Endesa.
