BAXI Manresa secured another Eurocup victory, defeating Aris Thessaloniki Betsson at the Nou Congost (113-99).
The players coached by Diego Ocampo got off to a strong start and controlled the scoreboard from the outset thanks to good decision-making and excellent offensive execution, allowing them to build a lead and close the first quarter with a seventeen-point advantage (35-18).
In the second quarter, the home team continued to dominate their opponents and, with strong minutes from Gerard Fernández, reached a maximum lead of 32 points (61-29). At halftime, the home team was clearly in control (63-38).
Returning from the locker room, the pattern remained largely the same, with Manresa maintaining a comfortable lead throughout. By the end of the third quarter, the Manresa team had the game firmly in hand, holding a 21-point advantage (87-66).
In the final ten minutes, the visitors found their range from beyond the arc and closed the gap dangerously, but the home team remained composed and secured their seventh Eurocup victory of the season.
On Saturday at 9:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will return to the Nou Congost arena to face Río Breogán.
