BAXI Manresa obtained a new victory at the Nou Congost after beating Río Breogán in a duel that they dominated from the middle of the first quarter (104-99).
The first few minutes were very evenly matched, with both teams trading the lead. In the final minutes of the first quarter, Diego Ocampo's players took control of the game and built a five-point lead (28-23).
In the second quarter, the home team, led by Obasohan, proved far superior to their opponents, allowing them to widen the gap and reach a maximum difference of 25 points (58-33). At halftime, the home team was comfortably ahead (62-38).
Coming out of the locker room, the Galicians started strong, going on a 2-14 run to close the gap to just twelve points (64-52). Manresa responded immediately and prevented their opponents from getting any closer. At the end of the third quarter, the Bages team held a fourteen-point lead (82-68).
In the final ten minutes, Breogán never gave up and closed the gap dangerously. However, Ocampo's men showed resilience and secured their sixth victory in the Liga Endesa.
