BAXI Manresa could not add another victory at the Nou Congost, since they lost to Unicaja (92-98).
The players coached by Ibon Navarro got off to a good start and built a nine-point lead (10-19). The visitors then responded, scoring twelve consecutive points before Perry closed out the first quarter with a three-pointer (22-22).
In the second quarter, Diego Ocampo's men dominated, extending their lead to eight points (41-33). At halftime, the home team was ahead by three points (46-43).
After the break, Manresa started strong, but then conceded an 8-0 run that gave the Malaga team control of the game, allowing them to lead by nine points (58-67). At the end of the third quarter, the visitors rallied and closed the gap to just two points (72-74).
In the final ten minutes, the visitors continued to dominate, reaching a maximum lead of fourteen points (74-88). Despite this precarious situation, the home team refused to give up and closed the gap to two points (88-90), but a long three-pointer from Perry sealed the victory.
On Wednesday at 8:45 PM, BAXI Manresa will play another Eurocup game at the Nou Congost, this time against the Italian team Umana Reyer Venice.
