BAXI Manresa is outplayed in Jerusalem

BAXI Manresa was unable to close out 2025 with a victory, falling decisively on the difficult court of an Israeli Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem team that was far superior in the second half (105-69).
The home team got off to a better start and built a maximum lead of ten points (21-11). From then on, Diego Ocampo's men, accurate with their outside shooting, reacted and finished the first quarter only one point behind on the scoreboard (23-22).
In the second quarter, the visitors showed their best form, which allowed them to turn the score around and enjoy a lead of up to five points (39-44). At halftime, Manresa was winning by four points (45-49).
Coming back from the locker room, the Israelis took control of the game and, thanks to a strong defensive effort and the Bagencs' poor shooting, regained the lead and extended it to fifteen points by the end of the third quarter (72-57).
In the final ten minutes, Hapoel proved far superior to the visitors, who struggled to score and gave them no chance to get back into the game. On the contrary, they extended their lead to a resounding 105-69 final score.
On Friday at 9:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will kick off 2026 with another Catalan derby at the Nou Congost, this time against Bàsquet Girona.
