BAXI Manresa breathes easier in Burgos, winning in overtime
Diego Ocampo's team beat the home team in overtime and secured their fourth victory in the Liga Endesa.

BAXI Manresa secured a hard-fought victory on the road against Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos, in a game that went to overtime (100-102).
The home team got off to a strong start and quickly took control of the scoreboard. An 8-0 run gave them a nine-point lead (28-19), which the visitors managed to cut to just five by the end of a very offensive first quarter (30-25).
In the second quarter, Porfirio Fisac's men extended their lead to ten points (43-33). The visitors then stepped up their game, reacted, and took the lead (46-50). At halftime, Manresa was winning by a single point (51-52).
Coming back from the locker room, Burgos started strong and gradually built a lead, reaching a maximum of nineteen points (59-78). Burgos then countered with fourteen consecutive points to close the gap to seven points at the end of the third quarter (73-80).
In the final period, the home team continued their comeback, even taking the lead (88-87). From then on, the game was a close finish, with Jackson missing the final shot and forcing overtime.
In overtime, Diego Ocampo's team took the lead, but Burgos always responded, eager to win after many weeks. Burgos had two more opportunities to secure the victory, but failed to convert. Reyes then made the first free throw, missed the second, and Oriola grabbed the rebound that secured the victory.
On Saturday at 7:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will play away again, this time at Casademont Zaragoza's court.
