BAXI Manresa could not break the bad streak in the Endesa League and fell to Carplus Fuenlabrada (101-97). The Bages team showed a good level in the first half and went to the break with an advantage, but in the third quarter they were overcome by some Madrid players who knew how to manage the revenue achieved. However, they never stopped competing and put fear in their opponent's body until the end.

The Madrid team made a better start, with a partial 9-3, but the Reds did not take long to react and, thanks to the success on the three-point line (they scored five three-pointers out of eleven attempts in the first quarter) turned the tables the scoreboard and closed the opening period winning by the minimum (22-23).

In the second, the figure of a Marc Garcia who again showed himself toned against the team of his city appeared. However, the visitors knew how to overcome and scored nine consecutive points that caused the home team coach to stop the game (37-41). From there, the Manresa team knew how to stay ahead in the electronic and reached the break leading by six points (44-50) after a two plus one converted by Sagnia.

Returning from the locker room, the home team came out more in tune and took less than two minutes to tie the game at 50, which forced Pedro Martínez to call a timeout. This was followed by an exchange of baskets, and later the Madrid team escaped on the scoreboard and closed the third quarter with the duel well faced (75-63).

In the last ten minutes, the Bages team did not lower their arms at any time and came to be only five points behind with less than two minutes to go (90-85). It was too late, as Garcia then appeared again to seal the victory for his team against the Reds who tried until the end and who closed the game with a long-range three-pointer from Dani Pérez.

After the week off for national team matches, BAXI Manresa will resume the Endesa League at Nou Congost with the visit of a Euroleague rival, Cazoo Baskonia. The match will be on Sunday 20 November at 17:00.
