On 14 March in Madrid, the thirty-fourth edition of Premios Gigantes was held, in which the BAXI Manresa Sports Director was chosen as the best in the Spanish basketball scene in his position.

The Sport Director of BAXI Manresa, Xevi Pujol, was chosen by the magazine Gigantes del Basket as the best in his position for the work, carried out during the 2021-2022 season, in the thirty-fourth edition of Premios Gigantes del Basket

At the Gala del Basket, Xevi Pujol could not be present due to the day and time, because it coincided with the match that BAXI Manresa played in Valencia. Despite not being able to attend in person, the Sports Director of Bàsquet Manresa appeared in a video and explained that «the magazine Gigantes for many years has been a source of information and still, today, keeps a few editions, understands the award as a collective recognition of the project that for years has been working and carrying out in Manresa, to praise the work of the team members, the staff, the people of the offices and especially that of the management and the president».

The event took place in the Beatriz Madrid Auditorium and was the celebration of an atypical year in which the pandemic had to be dealt with, but where, step by step, basketball was once again enjoyed in the stands. The Spanish basketball fest returned with more enthusiasm than ever. Elena Cascales and Quique Peinado, as the presenters of the event, made a review of the basketball year remembering the most outstanding moments until revealing the winners of Gala del Basket of the Gigantes del Basket magazine.
