Pierre Oriola renews with BAXI Manresa until 2028
The 2.08m and 33-year-old center from Tàrrega will remain linked to the Bages team for the next 2 seasons. He is extending his third stage in a city and club that are his home.
BAXI Manresa has secured the services of Pierre Oriola for the next two seasons. The center, who previously played for the Bages club during his junior years, has signed a contract extension until 2028.
Pierre Oriola Garriga (born in Tàrrega on September 25, 1992) will play for BAXI Manresa in the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons. He is a product of the Bages youth system, having joined the club as a junior in 2009 and making his ACB debut with Suzuki Manresa under coach Jaume Ponsarnau. After a long and varied career that has taken him to several teams, including Sevilla, Valencia, Barça, Girona, and Lleida in the Liga Endesa, as well as AEK Athens and Fuerza Regia in Mexico, Oriola aims to remain a key figure and a respected member of the BAXI Manresa locker room.
In his three stints with Bàsquet Manresa, Pierre Oriola has proven himself not only a reliable center but also an important element in fostering team cohesion and a role model for the younger players. This season, Oriola is averaging 9.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in the Liga Endesa and finished his EuroCup campaign with 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds.
