BAXI Manresa has begun to strengthen the 2020-2021 staff for painting. The second signing this spring-summer is Martynas Sajus, a Lithuanian trained at the Zalgiris Kaunas school, with experience in Lithuania, Poland and the Basketball Champions League. He has averaged 8.9 points and 4.9 rebounds last season at Lietkabelis.
Martynas Sajus (born in Kelmé, Lithuania, on February 22, 1996), will join BAXI Manresa this summer to be one of the strong men in painting. Sajus was a rival of the Bages in the last edition of the Basketball Champions League, making good performances against the Bages team. Corpulent, and with good ability to bounce and to play on the low post and finish under the ring, Sajus signs with BAXI Manresa for the 2020-2021 season.
He is a stout player, who despite his 2.08m moves fast, and has a good finish under the hoop. He trained in the lower divisions of Zalgiris, and also played 2 years in the Polish league. In the last season, in which he has played in the Lithuanian League and the Basketball Champions League, he has averaged 8.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1 block per game.
