Kids&Us Manresa was unable to secure a victory at one of Europe's toughest venues, facing a Real Madrid side that proved superior from the midway point of the first quarter onwards (120-83).
The opening minutes saw a tight contest between the two teams (8-8), but shortly after, a dominant Real Madrid—particularly in controlling the boards—went on a decisive 14-1 run to close the first quarter with a twelve-point lead (34-22).
In the second period, the home team maintained their strong offensive form, allowing them to steadily widen the gap on the scoreboard. By halftime, Pedro Martínez's men held a commanding lead (62-38).
After the break, the pattern remained much the same; the Madrid side did not allow Diego Ocampo's players to mount a dangerous comeback. By the end of the third quarter, the outcome was effectively decided, with Real Madrid holding a thirty-point advantage (86-56). The final ten minutes allowed players like Hugo Benitez and Pierre Oriola—returning after their respective injuries—to continue racking up playing time ahead of the team's upcoming fixtures.
On Tuesday at 6:00 PM, Kids&Us Manresa will play at the challenging home court of Turkey's Bahcesehir College Istanbul in the latest round of the EuroCup.
