BAXI Manresa is surpassed by Venecia in the Nou Congost
The Italians prevailed after a better second half against a BAXI Manresa team that looked more uncomfortable than in recent games.

BAXI Manresa was unable to secure another victory in the Eurocup, falling at the Nou Congost to the Italian team Umana Reyer Venecia in a game decided in the final quarter (75-91).
The opening minutes of the game were very evenly matched, with both teams, led by Obasohan and Tessitori, trading the lead several times. At the end of the first quarter, the score was tied at 24.
In the second quarter, the players coached by Diego Ocampo scored eleven consecutive points and reached a maximum lead of eight points (39-31). The Italians then played better before halftime and closed the gap to just two points (49-47).
After the break, the visitors took control, but couldn't create a significant gap. Manresa rallied in the final stretch and tied the game at 66 at the end of the third quarter thanks to a three-pointer by Steinbergs.
In the final ten minutes, Venezia played better, going on a decisive 0-15 run and leaving Manresa without any chance of winning in the closing stages of the game.
On Sunday from 12:00, BAXI Manresa will play another Catalan derby in the Liga Endesa, this time on the court of Hiopos Lleida.
