BAXI Manresa could not maintain its good streak of results and fell to Valencia Basket, a Euroleague team with positive dynamics (84-79). Despite the opposition's strength, Bages' team stood up until the final moments.

The locals started the game very in tune while Pedro Martínez's men had a hard time scoring. All this caused the Valencians to escape by up to twelve points (22-10). A three-pointer from an inspired Travanté and a basket from Steinbergs at the limit allowed the visitors to close the gap (22-15).

In the second quarter, the people from Manresa came out strong and were only two points away (22-20). Next, they entered into a phase of exchanging baskets that favored the orange team. However, Bages' team remained in the game at all times and reached halftime only three points behind (41-38).

Returning from the locker room, the visitors did not take long to turn the score around (41-42). It was for a few seconds, since the locals led by Robertson regained the initiative and, with five consecutive points from the guard, closed the third quarter with a five-point advantage on the scoreboard (63-58).

In the last ten minutes, the Valencians came out determined to finish the game and obtained a difference of thirteen points (78-65). Despite the difficulties, the people from Manresa did not stop fighting and got closer on the scoreboard, but it was too late, and the orange team remained solid and did not let the duel slip away.

On Sunday starting at 12:30 BAXI Manresa will play again at the Nou Congost against Covirán Granada of Joe Thomasson, Lluís Costa and Pere Tomàs.
