“la Caixa” renews its commitment with Bàsquet Manresa

"La Caixa" and the Bàsquet Manresa have signed a new agreement today for which the entity renews its commitment to the Catalan team during the next season.
The agreement was presented today in Manresa at a meeting attended by the territorial director of CaixaBank in Catalonia, Jaume Masana and president of the club, Josep Sáez.
Basketball Manresa was founded in 1931 and currently plays in the Nuevo Congosto pavilion, competing in the ACB League. The alliance between "la Caixa" and the Catalan club has a long history.
"La Caixa" has been supporting, for years, the training activities of the club's base teams for the training of young people and the dissemination of the values of sport, such as effort, responsibility, personal improvement, integration, team play and education in healthy habits, in addition to avoiding sedentary lifestyle and preventing childhood obesity.
The clear commitment to Catalan basketball responds to the belief that sport can be a driver of social change, as a driver of equality in our society and access to opportunities to develop.
