BAXI Manresa renews Retin Obasohan until 2026
The Belgian will play one more season for the Bages team after the club and player reached a renewal agreement. It is the first time in the career of the point guard that he has changed clubs.
Despite not having reached the end of the season yet, BAXI Manresa is already starting to plan and lay the foundations for next year. The first step is the renewal of Retin Obasohan, who will remain at BAXI Manresa for the 2025-2026 season. For the first time in his professional career, the point guard will play a second year with the same club.
The 31-year-old Belgian arrived in Manresa last July from the Italian Bertram Derthona Basket. He was one of the important additions to Diego Ocampo's team and this year he is making the fans of Nou Congost enjoy his leadership, defense and effort.
Obasohan is averaging 10.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 8.1 rating credits in 20:19 minutes in the Endesa League. On the other hand, in the Basketball Champions League he contributed 13.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 12.3 rating credits in 22.9 minutes.
