Dani Pérez surpasses Joan Creus as BAXI Manresa's second top ACB assistant

After distributing seven basket passes in the Catalan derby against Joventut, the Catalan point guard surpasses a national basketball legend, Joan Creus, in the ranking of all-time BAXI Manresa assists in the Endesa League.

A new milestone for a Dani Pérez who is already one step away from becoming the most prolific assistant in the entire ACB career of the Bages team. With a total of 568, the player born in l'Hospitalet, the land where Creus himself made his elite debut, is now only 50 assists away from first place, owned by Javi Rodríguez with 618.

At his current rate of 6.5 assists per game, Pérez could reach the top in Manresa in just eight games, a fact that, if so, would happen at the Nou Congost in the duel corresponding to matchday 27 against Coviran Granada.

The current guard of BAXI Manresa has needed only 97 games to advance in the ranking to Joan Creus, who played a total of 241 with the Catalan team, which is an abysmal difference of 144 matches.
