Pere Romero is no longer part of the Bàsquet Manresa staff
He was currently the technical manager of the projection players and the Junior A team, he had also been coach and sporting director for the last 8 seasons.
Pere Romero has stopped being part of the technical team of the Bàsquet Manresa base in recent days. Romero returned to the club in 2014, where he coached the team in the final stretch of the season. Since then he has been Sports Director (from 2014 to 2017), responsible for the training players and coach of Junior A.
After being part of the technical staff of the first team between the late '90s and 2000, he was coach of the linked team and later and also spent as an assistant in Valencia and Bilbao. Pere Romero returned to Manresa with the difficult task of finishing the 2013-2014 season. From the summer of 2014, he became Sports Director in the second stage of Pedro Martínez in the first team, and later with Ibon Navarro on the bench. From 2017 he started working as the technical manager of the base and was also the coach of the Junior team.
The club would like to express its public gratitude for the work that Pere Romero has been doing, who has always worked with passion and defending the best for the projection and evolution of our players, whether they are professionals or in training. His involvement, whether in technical matters or in all kinds of management and tasks that the club has needed, has always been maximum.
