The acb clubs, meeting on Monday by videoconference, have unanimously agreed to temporarily suspend the Endesa League until April 24, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19.

The 18 acb clubs have met this Monday by videoconference, constituting an Extraordinary Assembly to unanimously agree to temporarily suspend the Endesa League until next April 24 due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19 and that the country and all non-essential professional activities are detained.

Antonio Martín, President of the ACB, highlighted that "the will of all the clubs continues to be to resume the competition and finish the Endesa League 2019-20 to the extent and the times that the situation allows." In addition, it has reinforced "the importance of the unanimous support of all the clubs to an exceptional measure such as the temporary suspension of the competition in the face of a situation as serious as the one we are experiencing with this pandemic."
