Bàsquet Manresa decides not to renew Román Montañez as Sports Director
Joan ended his contract with the club this June and will no longer be the entity's top technical manager.
Bàsquet Manresa has decided not to extend the contract of Román Montañez as Sports Director of BAXI Manresa. The Joanenc thus ends a stage that began in June 2017.
Montañez was the head coach of Bàsquet Manresa since the team was relegated to the LEB League in 2017, just after his retirement as team captain. With him, the return to the Endesa League was achieved the following season, after a great season and a play-off that the Nou Congost will always remember.
Bàsquet Manresa would like to publicly thank the work done by Román Montañez, and wishes him good luck from now on both personally and professionally.
