Christmas visit to the children of Sant Joan de Déu and Ampans
The BAXI Manresa staff spent this afternoon seeing the boys and girls admitted to Sant Joan de Déu and the home for children and adolescents in Ampans "El Turó".
Morning of solidarity by the BAXI Manresa staff, who spent some time visiting the home for children and adolescents in Ampans "El Turó" and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. The players brought gifts to the little ones and spent some time with them.

After two years without being able to make the solidarity visit, the staff of BAXI Manresa and part of the technical and managerial staff have made a Christmas surprise for the patients admitted to the Paediatrics and Neonatology plant of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Manresa.
A large part of the BAXI Manresa staff, accompanied by its president, Jordi Serracanta, and representatives of the coaching staff, have approached the center of the Althaia Foundation, where they have been received by the deputy director, Albert Estiarte.
Due to the current visitor and companion regulations, only four players from the team have accessed the Paediatrics floor to meet some of the babies and minors admitted. The captain of the team, Guillem Jou, accompanied by Dani Pérez and the two most recent signings, Martinas Geben and Devin Robinson, have distributed several gifts among the hospitalized children, such as the limited edition shirt of the Final Four and other gifts which have served to bring joy and make the hospital stay of minors more pleasant during these festive days.
Albert Estiarte thanked the involvement of the city's basketball team to maintain the Christmas spirit and excitement among the hospitalized children and reiterated Althaia's support for the Manresa team. The visit ended with a family photo and thanks to the professionals who look after the little ones.
On the other hand, a group of players has also visited the home for children and adolescents in Ampans "El Turó". A residential home where 24 boys and girls and teenagers live, with intellectual disabilities. The BAXI Manresa players played and brought stuffed animals to the center's users. The Ampans staff wanted to show their satisfaction at being able to recover the visit and go and that from the club this important social project is given visibility and known year after year.
