Dani Pérez will continue to lead BAXI Manresa
The guard from l'Hospitalet de Llobregat has renewed its contract with the Bages club with an agreement that could last 3 years.
Dani Pérez will continue to lead BAXI Manresa 2020-21, after having renewed his contract with the Bages club next season. Pérez said he was "very happy. It was very easy, both sides wanted to continue. The option came out and we agreed very quickly".
On the 2019-20 academic year, the guard from l'Hospitalet de Llobregat acknowledges that "my wife and I have been very comfortable in Manresa. The people are very close, and the atmosphere that is generated in this court is never I had lived as a home player".
As for the post-season training sessions that are taking place in the Nou Congost, Pérez has "strange sensations, as if we were coming out of an injury. It's about getting back in shape and preparing for the next season. On the plus side, we have time to prepare for the upcoming preseason".
The guard also gave his opinion on the team next year: "I trust the club a lot, they have been doing very good work for years and signing very good players, considering the budget. The best possible team will be made within the our chances, then it will be the job of Pedro and the team to give the best performance and achieve the goals".
Finally he wanted to send a message to the fans: "It has been an atypical situation for everyone. We all look forward to returning to the Congost, and hopefully we can have a good time soon. The team will do their best so that when they come to the Congost enjoy it again like never before".
