BAXI Manresa pays a bad end in Lugo

BAXI Manresa could not add to the victory on the complicated Río Breogán court, in a duel in which they paid for a bad last quarter (91-78).
After an even first few moments, the players led by Diego Ocampo scored nine consecutive points and opened a gap in the scoreboard (5-14). The Reds, successful in the outside shot, showed themselves superior to the opponent and closed the first quarter with an eleven-point margin (15-26).
In the second period, the visitors obtained a maximum difference of fourteen points (19-33), but then the locals reacted, made a good end to the first half and were only four points behind at the halfway point of the confrontation (39-43).
Returning from the locker room, the players from Manresa maintained control of the electronic, but at all times with short distances. At the end of the third quarter, the Bages team won by the minimum thanks to two free throws scored by Agustín Ubal (62-63).
In the last ten minutes the Galicians made a better start and broke the game thanks to a strong 12-0 run that left Ocampo's men with no chance of fighting for victory in the final stretch.
On Sunday from 12:15 BAXI Manresa will welcome a Euroleague team, Xevi Pujol's Kosner Baskonia, to Nou Congost.
