BAXI Manresa lost to Italian side Trapani Shark in their third preseason match, played at the Sant Andreu de Llavaneres arena (75-93).

In a packed arena, the Italian team started strongly and took the first lead of the match. However, Diego Ocampo's men reacted quickly and prevented their opponents from getting ahead, leveling the score. The final three minutes of the first quarter were hard-fought, with a close match (19-19).

In the second quarter, Trapani Shark started with a resounding 0-7 run that allowed them to take control of the game. From then on, the Italian team knew how to manage their lead and, thanks to their effective offense, extended it to eleven points at halftime (30-41).

At the dam, the game was tied, a circumstance that played in favor of Trapani, who knew how to manage their advantage and closed the third quarter with a comfortable eleven-point cushion (53-64).

In the final ten minutes, the Manresa team was unable to get any closer on the scoreboard and did not jeopardize the Italians' victory, who extended the lead to a final score of 75-93.

On Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., BAXI Manresa will begin the group stage of the Catalan ACB League against Hiopos Lleida, in a match to be played in Tarragona.
