BAXI Manresa, hampered by numerous absences, couldn't pull off an upset on the difficult court of a EuroLeague team, Kosner Baskonia, who dominated from the first quarter and ended up winning comfortably thanks to excellent three-point shooting (130-85).

The first few minutes were close (20-17), but the Basque team was then able to pull away thanks to their outside shooting. At the end of the first quarter, the home team held an eleven-point lead (35-24) against a Manresa side that featured debuts for Paulicap, Lucas Sánchez, and Guillem Naspler.

In the second quarter, Galbiati's men continued their hot shooting from three-point range (making fourteen of seventeen attempts at halftime), allowing them to steadily widen the gap, which was already substantial by the end of the game (74-42).

Returning from the locker room, the momentum remained unchanged, and although Diego Ocampo's players tried to get back into the game, they faced an opponent that continued to be far superior and finished the third quarter with over 100 points (101-59).

The final ten minutes were uneventful, as the game was already decided. The Buesa Arena crowd celebrated their team's victory, securing their place in the Copa del Rey, while the Bages team tried to avoid further damage on a disappointing afternoon in Vitoria.

On Wednesday, starting at 8:45 PM, BAXI Manresa will host Neptunas Klaipeda of Lithuania at the Nou Congost stadium in a new round of the Eurocup.
