
BAXI Manresa's proud victory over Tenerife
The Bages team won a match that was hard-fought until the final seconds at a Nou Congost stadium that celebrates another good season for the team.

BAXI Manresa closed out the Liga Endesa season with a creditable victory at the Nou Congost against one of the Liga Endesa's biggest teams, La Laguna Tenerife (86-83), in a match decided in the final minute.
In a first quarter in which offenses dominated defenses, the Reds were more accurate and dominated with short leads against a Canary Island team led by their usual suspects, Huertas and Shermadini. At the end of the period, Diego Ocampo's team led by five points (31-26).
In the second quarter, the visitors made a better start and were able to turn the score around (33-36). Later, the Manresa team was able to recover and reached the halftime break with a three-point lead thanks to a final three-pointer from Dani Pérez (45-42).
Coming out of the locker room, the Bages team continued to dominate in the opening moments, but Txus Vidorreta's men raised their game, came back, and closed the third quarter with a five-point lead (63-68).
In the final ten minutes, neither team was able to break away on the scoreboard, and everything had to be decided in the final minute. In this one, the Reds were more accurate and took the victory, as Doornekamp's final three-pointer went wide.
