BAXI Manresa sweats, comes from behind and defeats one of the Eurocup giants

BAXI Manresa earned its second Eurocup victory after defeating Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem 101-94 in a match that came down to the final minute.
The players coached by Diego Ocampo started the match with a slight advantage on the scoreboard (12-9). From there, the Israelis reacted and took control of the scoreboard, which at the end of the first quarter showed a four-point lead for the visitors (20-24).
In the second quarter, Hapoel showed all their talent and achieved a maximum advantage of eleven points (29-40). The Reds then closed the gap to within two points thanks to an 8-0 run (44-46). At halftime, the Israelis led by six points (48-54).
Coming out of the locker room, the visitors made a better start and extended their lead. From then on, the home side closed dangerously close again and closed the third quarter with just a four-point deficit (69-73).
The final ten minutes were very even, and neither team was able to escape. Everything had to be decided in the final minute, when Bages's team was more in tune and took the win.
On Saturday at 6:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will host Dreamland Gran Canaria at the Nou Congost in the third round of the Endesa League.
