BAXI Manresa finds its first victory of the season at the Nou Congost
Diego Ocampo's team defeated Polish side Slask Wroclaw 74-62 in a match that went on for too long. Golden, Akobundu-Ehiogu, Ubal, Plummer, and Benitez stood out for the Reds.

BAXI Manresa earned its first win of the season after defeating Nou Congost against Polish side Slask Wroclaw on Matchday 2 of the EuroCup (74-62).
The game started very evenly, with both teams exchanging the lead. In the closing stages of a very long first quarter, the Poles were more accurate and ended the first period ahead (14-15).
In the second period, the Reds made a great start and put together a resounding 13-0 run that allowed them to open up a gap (31-19). However, the visitors reacted and closed dangerously close (31-26). At halftime, the home side led by eight points (36-28).
Coming out of the locker room, Diego Ocampo's men came out strong again, reaching a maximum lead of fifteen points (43-28). However, the visitors did not give up and made it to the final quarter (53-44).
In the final ten minutes, the Bages team managed to maintain a comfortable lead on the scoreboard and prevented their opponents from getting dangerously close. Thus, they reached the final possessions with their first win of the season under their belts.
On Saturday, starting at 9:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will debut at the Nou Congost in the Endesa League against Coviran Granada.
