BAXI Manresa falls to Barça at Nou Congost
Barcelona defeated a depleted Bages side 62-89. However, the Bages team put up a strong fight.

BAXI Manresa was unable to secure the victory against the powerful Barça at the Nou Congost (62-89).
The players coached by Diego Ocampo got off to a great start and took a five-point lead (15-10). From that point on, the Blaugrana, who were superior in the paint, reacted, turned the score around, and built a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter (21-28).
In the second quarter, Xavi Pascual's men continued their dominance, reaching a maximum lead of fourteen points (25-39). Immediately afterward, the visitors tried to respond, but they always ran into a very solid team that went into halftime with a thirteen-point advantage (37-50).
Returning from the locker room, Barça remained solid and maintained a significant lead throughout, reaching the end of the third quarter with the game firmly in hand (54-71).
In the final ten minutes, the Blaugrana didn't let up and displayed a high level of defense that stopped most of the attacks from a Bages team that had no chance of getting back into the game.
On Wednesday, starting at 7:00 PM, BAXI Manresa will visit the court of the Polish team Slask Wroclaw in a new round of the Eurocup.
