A confused BAXI Manresa falls to a more inspired Murcia

BAXI Manresa could not continue with the good dynamics of results and fell on the complicated court of UCAM Murcia in a match in which they fell behind on the scoreboard from the beginning and never found success in the shot (87-74).

The match began with a frenetic pace, which favored the interests of the locals who dominated the rebound and reached a thirteen-point difference (23-10). Immediately afterwards, the visitors were able to close the gap, and a penetration by Badio made it 23-16 at the end of the first ten minutes.

In the second period, the people from Manresa continued to reduce the gap, and a three-pointer by Steinbergs allowed them to go one point behind (31-30). Then Dylan Ennis appeared, scoring nine consecutive points to get his team off the ground again. A basket by Oriola at the limit made it 45-38 at halftime.

Returning from the locker room, the Bages team could not stop a very in tune Hakanson, who scored four triples without error and put the locals twenty points ahead (64-44). The visitors did not give up, and a triple by Dani Pérez brought them within just seven points (67-60). Next, a 7-0 run caused the Murcians to close the third quarter with a clear 76-62.

In the last ten minutes, the people from Manresa tried to get back into the game, but their mistake in the shot prevented it, and the locals did not suffer at any time to add another victory at home.
