BAXI Manresa B continues to grow stronger at the Nou Congost, where it added a new victory against the visit of Club Natació Sabadell (85-71). Carlos Flores's team remains in the co-leadership of the Super Cup along with Tenea Esparreguera, JAC Sants and Martinenc.
Manresa saw how in the first half the superior energy of the rival and the good success of the CN Sabadell players prevented them from entering the match at a good pace. However, Carlos Flores' team remained ahead of the scoreboard until halftime. In the second half, Manresa made use of its physique and its large squad, and thanks to this, Bages' team began to obtain the first big advantages on the scoreboard. For almost the entire second period, Manresa was more than 10 points clear and they added their fifth victory.
The coach of Senior B, Carlos Flores, evaluates the match in this way: «We were playing against a team with good success from 3 and we knew how to counteract their success with fast play and the counterattack despite our low. Thanks to the good basketball and the concentration of the team we have managed to add the fifth victory that keeps us in the top positions and gives us a lot of confidence for the following games.»
On Saturday, starting at 5:30 p.m., BAXI Manresa B will visit the complicated court of the CBU Lloret Samba Hotels, which occupies fifth position in the standings with a balance of four wins and two losses.
El Zamora Enamora and Toni Naspler do not let up
Zamora Enamora, with Toni Naspler in its ranks, continues to count its matches by victories. This day they decisively surpassed the visit of the Basque Juaristi ISB (95-70) in a duel that was decided with an initial partial score of 33-9.
