BAXI Manresa B could not achieve the second victory of the season, since they fell on the court of Barcelona's JAC Sants by 58-49.
The home team took control of the scoreboard from the beginning, until the Bages team scored seven consecutive points and turned it around (13-14). However, a 9-0 run meant that JAC Sants closed the first quarter with an eight-point lead (22-14). In the second the defenses clearly prevailed over the attacks, which favored the Barcelona team, who extended the margin to twelve points at half-time (33-21). In the second half, Carlos Flores' players were only four points behind, but the home team reacted immediately and entered the last ten minutes with a 45-36 lead. In these, the Manresa team did not give up and tried to come back, but JAC Sants was solid and took the victory.
On Sunday starting at 12:30 BAXI Manresa B plays again at the Nou Congost, this time against Círcol Cotonifici de Badalona, a rival that has lost the two games it has played, the last of them at home against the UE Sant Cugat Negre (43-70).
