Some of our players will play with their national teams in the qualifying matches for the World Cup

Martinas Geben, Juan Pablo Vaulet, Elias Valtonen, Brancou Badio and Marcis Steinbergs have been selected to play qualifying matches with their respective national teams. The players will play in the next qualifying matches for the World Cup, which can be followed live through the Courtside 1891 platform.

Martinas Geben's Lithuania clearly prevailed over Hungary (89-64), in a game they dominated from the second quarter. The center started and finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 13 rating credits in just over 16 minutes he was on the court.

Argentina, with Juan Pablo Vaulet in its ranks, beat Canada (83-72). The BAXI Manresa player was in the starting five and played almost 21 minutes, in which he obtained records of 9 points, 4 rebounds and 12 rating credits.

In the African qualifiers, Brancou Badio's Senegal fell against a South Sudan that was superior in the last quarter (83-75). The BAXI Manresa player started in the starting five and had a great game, with 29 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 27 rating credits in the almost 36 minutes he was on the court.

Finally, Marcis Steinbergs got the win in Latvia's visit to Turkey, thanks to a great third quarter (74-83). The power forward played almost 13 minutes and contributed with 3 points and 5 rating credits.

Brancou Badio's Senegal lost again, this time against Tunisia, in a duel that got away in the second half (53-70). Badio, who returned to the starting five, was more discreet than the previous day and finished with 4 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in just over 30 minutes.

Brancou Badio closed the qualifying phase for the World Cup with Senegal, and did so with a resounding victory over Cameroon, in a game that he dominated from the start (63-89). Badio, who again started, was again at a great level, with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 23 rating credits in just over 32 minutes that he was on the court.
