The center Martinas Geben renews with BAXI Manresa
The Lithuanian was one of the architects of the team's growth last season. He signs for another year with the red team.
Martinas Geben extends its association with BAXI Manresa. The Lithuanian center, 28 years old and 2.08 meters, is already known to Bages fans after arriving in December at Nou Congost. Geben was a key player in straightening the team last campaign, in which he averaged 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds.
Geben arrived in Manresa last December to strengthen the team at a difficult time, especially in the domestic game. He quickly adapted to his teammates, and in the 31 games he played here under Pedro Martínez, he averaged 9.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in just over 17 minutes per match
The one from Vilnius is a "classic" center, with weight, height, rebounding ability and facility both to finish under the hoop and to find his teammates with a pass. He already knows what it is to play at Nou Congost, where he was well received by the public and where he has chosen to continue developing his career. In this way, BAXI Manresa achieves one more point of continuity with respect to the squad that made a great comeback last season.
