Manresa City Council receives Toni Naspler, European Under-16 Basketball Champion
The Manresa basketball player Toni Naspler was recently proclaimed European champion of basketball U16, as a member of the state team, in the championship that took place in Italy. This morning he was received by the mayor and the Councilor for Sports in the City Hall, along with his family. Naspler has received a gift from the mayor on behalf of the city.
Toni Naspler, Europe's basketball champion under 16, has been received at the City Hall of Manresa by the mayor, Valentí Junyent, and the Councilor for Sports, Antoni Massegú. The reception was also attended by the president of the Manresa Basketball Club 2015, Sebastián Catllà, other members of the club, and the parents and brother of Toni Naspler.
The Manresan basketball player has proclaimed the U16 European champion in the European championship held in Udine (Italy) with the state team. Also this summer he won the Olympic Youth Basketball Festival in Baku (Azerbaijan).
During the reception, the mayor has given a commemorative gift to the young Manresan athlete, and a commemorative photo has been taken.
