Kids&Us Manresa has signed Barcelona's Rafa Villar, a 21-year-old, 1.91m point guard who arrives from Baskonia. Villar has signed a two-season contract.
Rafael Villar Cornago (born in Barcelona on August 9, 2004) has played in the Endesa League and the Euroleague with Baskonia this year. In the national competition, in which he has played in the playoff for the title, he has averaged 2.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and a 4.8 rating in 12.6 minutes, while in Europe he has finished with 0.7 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists and a 1.7 rating in 6.4 minutes.
Villar is a point guard who trained at Barça's youth academy and has been a world and European champion with the lower national teams. He is a playmaker with very good defensive, leadership and commitment skills.
