Kids&Us Manresa is looking for "Try-out" players for its pre-season
The Bages team will hold player trials on August 12th and 13th, from which a selection will emerge that will begin preseason with the first team.
The Fundació Bàsquet Manresa is holding open tryouts on August 12th and 13th for anyone over 18 to join Kids&Us Manresa for the preseason. Candidates can register through the club's store and will have to pass physical and technical tests if they wish to join the team.
This morning, at a press conference held at La Soca Restaurant in Manresa, the Kids&Us Manresa tryouts were presented. This initiative, spearheaded by the club's foundation, aims to recruit players for the team at the start of preseason. Applicants simply need to be over 18 and register online. Participants in this "dream," which offers a new opportunity to players who have aspired to be part of a professional team, will have to pay an €80 registration fee. This fee includes a kit with their jersey number and the chance to become full members of the first team for a few days.
Ander Mirambell, manager of the Fundació Bàsquet Manresa, presented this initiative alongside Diego Ocampo, coach of Kids&Us Manresa, who will personally oversee the selection process. Mirambell explained how the tryouts will be conducted and what this innovative initiative aims to achieve. Diego Ocampo spoke highly of the initiative, saying it will be a process that is "wonderful to observe, both for the participants and for us, the coaches."
