Marc Estany and Max Gaspà, eighth in the U-20 Eurobasket

Two members of BAXI Manresa, assistant coach Marc Estany and point guard Max Gaspà, were in the Greek city of Heraklion from July 12 to 20 competing in the Eurobasket. In the group stage, the national team reached third place in Group A with a record of one win and two losses, behind Israel (first, 3-0) and Poland (second, 2-1) and ahead of Finland (fourth, 0-3). In the round of 16, Spain defeated the Czech Republic by 54-70. In the quarterfinals, they fell to Serbia (66-76), and in the games for fifth to eighth place they lost to Israel (80-69) and Slovenia (75-77).
