BAXI Manresa was very close to the fourth victory of the season in the Liga Endesa, but could not finish the job and ended up falling in extra time on the complicated court of Monbus Obradoiro, who came to the game in a good dynamic of results (104-99).

The team led by Pedro Martínez made a great start to the game, with an initial score of 3-11. However, the home team did not take long to react and, led by a very successful Robertson, turned the score upside down and closed the first quarter with two points (21-19).

The second started with an exchange of baskets, and later the Galicians went on a 9-0 run that forced the coach of the Manresans to stop the game (32-26). Then, two three-pointers in a row by Dani Pérez were the prelude to the comeback of the Bages team, who reached a margin of seven points in the middle of the duel (42-49).

Returning from the dressing room, Moncho Fernández's players, led by Vicedo, came out in high spirits and leveled the match immediately. It then entered a phase of much equality, in which neither team could escape. At the end of the third quarter, the Reds led by two points (70-72).

In the last ten minutes, the Manresa team did not lose control of the electronic, but they could not open a definitive hole either. With less than two minutes remaining, a three-pointer by Ferrari made it 85-91, but the home team didn't give up and forced overtime from the free throw as the visitors' last-ditch drive failed to come to fruition. In this one, there was a close-freck final of heart attack, in which the Galicians were more successful and stayed with the triumph.

BAXI Manresa's next match will be on Sunday from 17:00 at Nou Congost, when they will receive a visit from a direct rival, Casademont Zaragoza.
