Marcis Steinbergs, two more years at BAXI Manresa
The 23-year-old Latvian power forward has renewed his contract with the Bages team. He will begin his fifth season in red, and his contract with BAXI Manresa will extend to six years.
Marcis Steinbergs is now a Manresa native. The Latvian power forward will rejoin BAXI Manresa this summer to play his fifth season despite still being 23 years old. He signs a two-year contract with the Bages club.
Steinbergs joined the Bages club for the 2021-22 season from Gran Canaria and has played a total of 125 games in the Endesa League, three in the Copa del Rey, and 42 in the Basketball Champions League. The Latvian scored two game-winning baskets, on the courts of Granada and Joventut. In the 2024-25 season, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and a 5.5 PIR in 17:59 minutes in the top Spanish competition and 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and a 6.6 PIR in 17.6 minutes in Europe.
