BAXI Manresa 2023-24 is presented in public
This Thursday, the presentation was held at Mútua Intercomarcal's headquarters, where the players and coaching staff met the press for the first time.
The BAXI Manresa 2023-2024 held its first public event this afternoon, in the presentation at the headquarters of Mútua Intercomarcal, a collaborator of the club for more than 30 years. The team, with some men yet to arrive, started training a few days ago and has its first preseason game on Saturday.
In addition to the staff and coaching staff of BAXI Manresa, Albert Cots, President of Básquet Manresa, Enric Torres, President of Mútua Intercomarcal, Lluís Gené, managing director of Mútua Intercomarcal, and Ruth López, secretary of the cabinet, have been to Mútua of Presidency and general management of Mútua Intercomarcal.
Enric Torres welcomed the team and emphasized the profile of the club: "the search for permanent success and the fact of never stopping fighting have always been part of these values since more than 50 years». For his part, Albert Cots explained that «for me it is a personal pleasure to be here, next to Mútua, as traveling companions of the club for so many years. It is an organization with which we share many values». Finally, Pedro Martínez wanted to emphasize that «the word we all have in our heads is illusion. We really want to start and work hard to give our best version».
The team led by Pedro Martínez passed the corresponding medical examinations and began training during the third week of August. He did so already with most of the roster at his disposal, including new signings Brandon Taylor and Travante Williams. Apart from the additions that need to be finalized, Devin Robinson, who has been a father in recent weeks, also needs to arrive in Manresa. On Saturday BAXI Manresa has its first pre-season game. It will be against UCAM Murcia, at 19:00 in Montsó.
