BAXI Manresa raises 3.395€ to help Ukrainian refugees
The special 'samarreta de la Pau' that the team wore in the match against Andorra raises 3.395€ which will be given to the NGOs Fundació Convent de Santa Clara and Creu Roja. The winners of the shirts will be announced next week.
The solidarity initiative in favour of Ukrainian refugees has been a success. The BAXI Manresa, which in the last home league game wore a special white shirt with the word "Pau" printed in several languages at the back, has managed to raise 3,395€ to give to the NGOs Fundació Convent de Santa Clara and Creu Roja, which are dedicated to helping refugees from the war in Ukraine.
The draw will take place on Monday at 10:00, and afterwards the club will announce the winners of each of the solidarity t-shirts in a publication in its social networks and in its website.
Bàsquet Manresa would like to publicly thank all the fans for their collaboration, who have once again showed that beyond winning or losing, this is a solidary club.
