BAXI Manresa closed 2022 in the best possible way, with a very important victory at Nou Congost against Básquet Girona, one of their direct rivals (82-79). The Bages team, boosted by a crowd that filled the pavilion to the brim, took the initiative from the second quarter on against a team from Girona that made it difficult for them to win until the end.
After a difficult start for both teams, in which Robinson made his debut for the Reds, the visitors took control of the scoreboard and gained a nine-point advantage thanks to a partial 0-7, which forcing Pedro Martínez to call a timeout. It didn't help much, since they couldn't close the gap at the end of the first quarter (14-23).
In the second, Adam Waczynski put the team on his back and led the home team's comeback, who were far superior to the opposition and came to enjoy an eight-point lead before Hanzlik closed the first half with a three-pointer in the last seconds (36-31).

In the last ten minutes, the Girona team did not give up and came within a single point in the last minute, after a three-pointer scored by Gasol (78-77).
