BAXI Manresa visits El FAR d'AMPANS to inspire new training paths
A representation of BAXI Manresa, led by players Retin Obasohan, Agustín Ubal, Álex Reyes, Max Gaspà and Kaodrichi Akobundu, accompanied by coach Diego Ocampo, carried out their traditional Christmas visit today, which this year focused on the Aula Auditori del FAR, the New Opportunities school of the AMPANS Foundation, located on Carrer Maternitat d'Elna.
The objective of the meeting was to connect with young people who participate in the various training programs of AMPANS. The event was attended by students from the Noves Oportunitats program —aimed at young people who have left their studies prematurely—, students from the new FP and students from the Specific Training Paths (IFE).
The day began with a welcome from the president of the AMPANS Foundation, Lluís Sánchez Seuba, who thanked the Manresa club for their visit. The highlight was a series of interviews where the students themselves were able to question the players, sharing experiences about effort, discipline and the importance of finding one's own educational and work path.
The event concluded with a speech by Josep M. Herms and the long-awaited group photo and autograph session, where the players and the coach were able to interact closely with the young people.
This visit underlines the commitment of BAXI Manresa to the social fabric of Bages and to the values of reintegration and the new educational opportunities that AMPANS promotes.
