Matchday 16 of the LEB Gold was complicated for Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto. In addition to their tight defeat against TAU Castelló (75-71), the Asturias team was unable to summon Marc Peñarroya. The player suffered a muscle injury in his left thigh during the last training session before the match against the team from Castellón. His evolution will mark the return to training sessions.
In contrast, on matchday 16 of the LEB Silver, the situation was very different. Zamora Enamora won against Teknei Bizkaia Zornotza (90-84), with great interventions from Naspler and Hustak. In BBL, matchday 15 did not bring joy to the Rostock Seawolves either. Elias Valtonen's team lost against the Chemnitz Niners (81-96). The Finnish forward, as a starting player, scored 8 points, 2 rebounds and 8 rating credits in over 15 minutes he played.
