The junior A of Catalana Occident Manresa closed a great 2020-2021 season with a brilliant fifth position in the Spanish championship of the category, which was held in Granada.

The Bages team started the competition with a comfortable victory against the Aragonese Stadium Casablanca, in a match that dominated from the beginning (37-59). In the second duel, another victory, this time more deserving, against a Baskonia that was behind for many minutes (70-63). In the last match of the group stage, the Manresa team took the opportunity to rotate in the defeat with Real Madrid (96-50).

In the round of 16 the rival was Obradoiro. After a very even match, Catalana Occident ended up winning by the minimum (63-62). In the quarterfinals it faced a Joventut that, after 30 minutes very level, ended up tipping the scales in the final minutes thanks to his success from the three-point line (75-64). In the match for fifth place, the Bages team again showed a good version and won Unicaja (64-79).
