On Monday, January 21, the AllStar 2019 of Copa Catalunya, the highest level competition in the senior category organized by the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ) , has been officially presented.
The Allstar reaches its third edition and this year it will be competing in the Nou Congost of Manresa on the weekend of January 26 and 27. This Allstar is organized by Catalan Basketball Federation with the support of The Local Communication Network and the collaboration of the Manresa City Council .

The presentation of this match of the Copa Catalunya has counted on the presence of Valentí Junyent, Mayor of Manresa; Joan Fa, President of the Catalan Basketball Federation; Toni Reig, Director of the Catalan Sports Council; Francisco Pena, CEO of The Local Communication Network; and Jordi Serracanta, Councilor for Sports of the City of Manresa. Participants of this Allstar have not missed the event, such as Carlota Carner (CB Igualada) and Toni Espinosa Jr (CEB Girona) or coaches Eloy Acedo (Basket Almeda) or Xavi Riera (AE Badalonès) among others.
The AllStar 2019 is open to all (free entry, all downloading it on the web of FCBQ and manresa.koobin.com) and will be televised live for La Xarxa, the proximity televisions and streaming through the Xala! platform. The event is part of the collaboration agreement between La Xarxa Audiovisual Local and FCBQ to promote the Copa Catalunya.
As in the last editions, the AllStar of the Copa Catalunya will keep the same operation and will be divided into two days: Saturday 26 January at 6pm the Allstar masculine will be played that, apart from the match of the stars with a selection of players from all the teams in the competition, it will have the traditional slam dunk contest ; whereas from 18h on Sunday 27 it will be the turn of the Allstar female with a match between the best players in the competition and three-point contest . The coaches of the category have been, once again, responsible for choosing the most outstanding players and players of the category that will participate in this show.
Throughout the weekend, the Nou Congost will also host, in parallel, a series of activities by the Delegation of the Central Regions of the Catalan Basketball Federation and aimed at children as the Allstar 'KIDS'. In this sense, on Saturday 26 at 3pm, the Congost Complex will host a Meeting of Basketball Schools with the participation of 24 groups of the Central Regions; while on Sunday 27 and on the same stage, a Men's and Women's Mini Tournament will be organized with the participation of a total of 12 teams in this category.
Likewise and in this great weekend of basketball, the 5th edition of the Albert Gasulla Forum organized by the Catalan Basketball Foundation (FBC) Catalan Association of Basketball Coaches (ACEB). It will be on Sunday January 27 in the same Nou Congost with an activity that will be led by Sito Alonso, basketball top coach, giving a technical training session entitled "You decide!" that will start at 11am in the morning. It is an innovative initiative that will involve the participants as much as possible, since they can propose the topic that they would like the technician to develop to the formative talk, as long as they ask for it at the moment of processing the registration.
